? about growout tanks

was thinking about buying another large growing cichlid that would start out in my 55 gal grow out tank and eventually go in a 125 what cichlid would be best for this really not interested in a midas or red devil any other suggestions would be most appreciated

will be empty by time these fish will be big enough to need it but just for record right now there are some grow out dovii in it till i get her 220 in the spring

Take a look at the Hogoboomorums. They are in the Amphilophus group. Nice fish.
