Can anyone tell me what their behaviors are. I wanted to get 1 but i heard their nasty with other tankmates.

yes they are aggressive. Most anything you put in the tank with it is at risk.

Jardinis are generally quite aggro, but it all depends on each individual fish's personality. As long as the other fish are as big as the Jardini or VERY fast swimmers it should be ok. Problems would probably occur if introducing a big adult into a tank with smaller fish. If you let them grow up together it should be fine...

Just my 2c..

I'm planning to get a 4-5". I have 2 silver aro about 10" and 5 ". HAve a gar who swims to slow, a polypterus, and a motoro. I guess he won't fit w/ his tankmates then.

I would make sure that all your silvers are much bigger then your jardini, my jardini killed the aro that was the same size. Alot of people told me if you kept them together make sure the silver is alot bigger.

Its a good idea to put it in a tank with fish that our bigger then it..... but all that is just personal experience.

I have heard people tell me that their Jardini have killed their silver aro tankmates which were twice as big. who would have thought.

That sucks, cuz there's only three types of aros in the US that i can get. I'll probably go for a black 1 then.
