Hi everyone. So, i just bought a rainbow wolf fish. It's about 4 inches now. After i put it in my tank about 2 weeks ago, my fish looks really hate the filter (i use HOB). It swimming around like worrying or scare about something. Even if i try to reduce the flow of my filter. And when i try to turn off the filter, my fish suddenly calm down. I use a planted tank (amazon sword mostly). Is my fish will be okay without filtration? I change the water every 3 days. Does it disturbed by the filter? Thanks for the answers.

It might be bothered by the filter. It’ll settle down after some more time. Once it gets bigger it’ll be fine.

Thank you for your answer. Is my fish will be okay if i continuing put it in a filterless tank? Or i should keep the filter? Cause my fish will always try to jump when i turn on the filter.

I would keep it if there’s not another source of filtration.

Okay. I'll keep trying to use the filter and maybe tomorrow i'll get a new filter. Thanks for the advice.
