I will be getting my tem and jag from the lfs next week. My 75 is ready for them (as soon as my o's go into my 180 with the pacus), but I am curious about how they will get along with each other. I assume they will be roughly the same size when I get them; I know the tem will get 36" and the jag 20", but how different will the growth rates be? Is there a certain size in which they must be separated or will being raised together keep them sociable? Thanks for any and all advice. Tom

They should do just fine. I have never had a problem w/mine. They will pretty much keep to themselves. Good luck
I think it will depend on the Jag's tempermant. Some get along well, while some are killers

My Jag grew very fast. He ate like a pig from the beginning. I'd think a well fed Jag's growth could keep up fairly well with a p-bass until at least 10" or so.
Young p-bass just don't have the fight in them like a young Jag.
