about setting up the ground cover plants...HELP

hi...I just set up a planted aquarium...but I'm really new in this area...I try to set up my ground cover plants...but it keeps floating...so how could I set them up in order to keep them into the bottom of the thank....this is the pic...and on the left hand side of the pic...is those ground cover plants..that I can't deal with it...help please.... ><

I can't tell what type of plant you have from the picture. That will determine quite a bit when it comes to planting.
