do you guys think that SB bichirs requires extra cares compare to the normal one?

Of course, they are so much more expensive than normal bichirs, I would pamper them

It's a "No" to me. They are as harder as their normal species, but for a hobbyists I believe they would take extra care as they pay a higher price for it.

From my experience, SB body endies have a shorter life too as the hobbyist usually overfeed them to gain the fat body they want.

I fyour talking about albino senegals which grow a max of 8 inches, i would say no. Basicly, all polys are very hardy fish. I keep 2 albino senegals and they are very healthy!!!

no he talking about short body bichirs, albino sens only reach 8'' cause poor diluted genes, nothing to do with the sb gene

every short body fish ive tried to keep has died maybe its just me but they seem to be more prone to illness.

just suspecting, because their internal organs may not develop well compare to the normal one, which include their respiratory.

It wud be a yes , as i think short body poly are a gene defect therefore it has to have some effect on the health of fish. This what i think
