right we all know tank size plays a part in the size and speed a fish grows

so a fish kept in a 30x14x14 would grow at one rate and a fish kept in a much larger tank would grow faster

but what if that 30x14x14 tank was connected to a 1000 gal system would the fish grow faster as surely it would be like having a divider in a 1000 gal tank

opinions please

Yes a small tank connected to a large system would give bigger growth rates. It is not the distance from one side to the other that slows the growth down, it is the concentration of pheromones in the volume of water. Water changes obviously make a big difference but changing a lot every two weeks is not enough, your drip would have the same effect as unlimited tank size based on 200 gals a day going through.

I think you knew all of this anyway.
