About terrapin

The only ones I know of that stay that small are protected and illegal to keep.....Bog turtle.

A tortoise that small would be really nice.Those little baby sulcattas in the stores are so cute.
 
There is a tortoise that size, the various Padloper species (genus Homopus), but I've never seen them for sale. 3-5" is full adult.

As far as turtles go, I'd go with Mud/Musk turtles.

Sounds interesting,I'm going to have to have to look it up.....as well as the Egyptian.
