Does anyone know how to sex these? I saw one in a local fish store and fell in love with it. Its about 4-5 inches. I attached a pic of a Cobra Pike that looks just like the one in the store. The guy told me that these are VERY hard to come by. I left a deposit and told him that i'll be back for it. Any addition info on this fish would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Not nearly as hard to come by as he made you beleive. Yes they aren't regular at an lfs, but you can buy them from vendors online for sure. Ken Davis of FishFarm had quite a lot of them for sale. I don't beleive he has to many left now. He was asking $34.00.
How much are you haveing to pay?
Just do a search for Cobra's in the pike forum and you will find everything you need to know.
You do know that is a juvenile pattern and it will lose it as it gets older.

it struck me that while almost all lugubris improve with maturity thetwo that would be amazing if they kept their juvenile colors are cobras and xingu 1
