Hey guys... So I have a 50 gallon tank with (9 bleeding heart tetra's, 8 Red Minor tetra's, 8 glowlight Tetra's, & 5 bloodfin tetra's) I want to buy some beautiful Angelfish today and I was wondering if the tetra's would give the Angels any trouble....I researched the tetra's and pretty much understand that if you have them is schools of at least four they should not nip the fins of the Angels....Anyone confirm that any advice would be great thanks

Get medium-sized angels and I would avoid veils. Veils' longer fins tend to be irresistible to most fish whether they're aggressive or not. The long, flowing nature of veil fins just screams, "Chew on me!" to other fish.

Large angels may hunt and eat small tetras, so you're looking for just the right balance -- you want angels that are large enough that your tetras don't nip their fins, and angels that are small enough that they won't try and kill any smaller tetras. So I suggest medium-sized ones, bigger than quarter sized bodies.

I have some Bleeding Hearts (a group of 5) with my Angels, and have never had a problem.
I have no experience of the others.
