Ok, here are the specifics:
Tank: 125g, 72" x 18" x 24" (L x W x H)
pH: 7.0 and stable
Nh3: 0.0
No2: 0.0
No3: 0.0 (50% water change weekly and current bioload makes this possible)
Substrate: Fine Black Sand (Tahitian Moon I think...)
Filtration: (1) Eheim 2217, (1) Eheim 2213
Heating: (2) 250w Ebo-Jager
Current Stock: (1) Chocolate Cichlid 3" est.
(1) Senegal Bicher 5" est.
The tank is long established and I have not had any cycle problems for the last 5 years or so it has been running.
This is what I am thinking about adding:
(1) H. Carpintis @ 1.5"
(1) N. Haitinsis @ 2.0"
(1) N. Tetracanthus @ 1.5"
(1) M. Ramirezi @ 1.5"
(1) S. Daemon @ 1.5"
(1) P. Polleni @ 3"
The only one of these fish I have owned before was the Haitiensis. I am looking for any input you feel like putting in. If you see a problem with this or have a suggestion please don't hesitate to post. Just an FYI, there will be an additional filter added to this tank when I increase the stock.
Thanks for reading,
Matt
