What is wrong? People buy them. They aren't difficult to catch. They don't suffer much when shipped and they are very easy to care for. So what is wrong? Why can't I buy any species but the same three I see everywhere? Where's our fog doradids, anadoras grypus, true costatus, cataphractus, hildadoras and mouse cats? What are these people doing out there in their canoes, just picking their noses? Catch some catfish you lazy bums.

No, I'm serious. Get me some doradids. They are easy to ship and you don't need much water for them to sit in during shipping, they breathe air. That means shipping costs are very low. Just triple bag it and add a warm pack wrapped in something and it's good to go. PM me for my address and I'll send you payment with Paypal. I'm done messing around. Where are my catfish?!

Maybe I should try posting such a thread as this for NGT datnioides.

You think you're the only person that's having a hard time finding a fish they want, even if they're abundant in the wild? ;)

Lets go on a MFK, mission to collect fish... Im sure you could get a few people to go... and more to help pay for it.

Fishkeeper? Yes. Fisherman? Not really. And I'm tied to a new job, so no time off for me for quite awhile.

The Wet Spot just got in some Hassar notospilus, 4" for $25.00. They list them as RARE, so you might want to snatch one up.

Checked them out. They have an acanthodoras cataphractus, but have thus far failed to return my email.

Got the email back. They still have one lone acanthodoras cataphractus. Minimum order is required so I have to wait for more doras.
