About to throw this computer out the window

for some reason My microphone doesn't work on this computer.

well, it works, but it comes out like.. I don't even know how to explain it. it's like a mix between weird arabic music and the sounds from "close encounter". It's defiantly not feedback because I'm speaking into it. It's not the microphone because it works on the other computers (for reasons beyond me) and it's defiantly not my voice so don't crack the preteen playing counterstrike joke.

On that note, me and my friends came up with the conclusion that the common american kid voice cracks at age 30, lmao . Sorry, that's coming from an australian who can judge the differences between his voice, his peers and the stupid 12 year old preteen that plays on the australian servers from the other side of the globe.

I don't think that's the problem, I have the exact same computer and it works completely fine on that. I've gone into control panel and gone to sound and audio devices, and have tested my hardware. I also have "Realtek HD Audio manager" and I have gone into that have messed with the jacks, the "analog" and "front panels" and both with the same effect.
and I've done several Microphone calibrations to no success. sounds comes out but it comes out all ****ed and stupid.

Been there, done that! Update drivers. Update mic software. Go to "start" . Test and "adjust" mic! Easy!
