I want to know what is the meanest fish that i can keep in a 75g i just picked up. A fish that would maybe even scare you to put your hand in the tank. Atleast something interesting enough to bite chunks out of other fish, or shred them even. Is a common wolf fish my best bet or is there something better im not aware of.

Freshwater im guessing? a spilo piranha maybe but its not vicous.a red devil MAYBE. i have a porcupine pufferfish thats AWESOME and i definetly am scared to put my hand in there! but i dont kno if itll fit in a 75. my understanding is that wolf fish are inactive. They still get like 2' tho

Freshwater or brackish would be fine. Also open to oddball suggestions and fish that would need a tank upgrade eventually.

fahakas eventually need a 120 and tons of filtration. I always thought doing 4 or 5 gulpers in a 75 would be awesome.

I like the Gulper idea. If you want something easy to get, a Midas/Red Devil is a great choice. I would be afraid to stick my hand in the tank of many Midas/RDs I have seen.

A cetopsis catfish.
They are literally designed for biting chunks out of fish many times larger than they are, and will outright eat anything smaller.
Try getting at least 3 :)
