I’ve had this gar for almost a month now and it’s just under 8”. Since day 1 it’s been willing to eat anything I’ve thrown at it; floating carnivore sticks, sinking carnivore pellets, dried krill, tilapia, market shrimp and frozen bloodworms.
Not for nothing it’s almost scary as I’ve had an alligator gar before but wasn’t this beasty about food. This guy will none stop eat. And even tries to go after me through the glass once it sees I’m near. I think I have a true baby monster on my hands lol

These guys have amazing growth rates. And that Pbass in the background will become a meal.
