Hey guys, I'll be using this thread to showcase my cichla as I continue along with keeping them. I currently have 3 kelbs and 1 mono. I plan on getting a lot more of several different species which I'll post on here whenever I do. It'll just be my Cichla update thread to keep me more active on the site.

Sorry for the horrible pics, I'm definitely not a photographer. Once I buff the front panel again I'll upload a video on YouTube or something lol. K krichardson bOOsteN aUdI Their sizes are about 2" smaller than I eyeballed them at yesterday. Big kelb is about 16 inches with the mono and other kelbs 11-14 inches. The thick acrylic makes it hard to tell.

Impressive,you don't see too many kels around that are well past ten inches in length.What size is that tank btw?

~850 gallons. I believe the dimensions are 10.5' L x 4' W x 2.5' T.

Nice,it looks like it is up pretty high too are those trashcans part of the filter system?

That's a big tank! Where are you located? Your kels look like Rio Tocantins. Very nice group

I'm in Utah. Thanks for the identification! They were sold to me as Bahias but once they got bigger I was confused haha. I'm really happy with how they came out.
