ac 110 modified

Hi Today is wc day and while I was cleaning I thought I would take some pics of how I modified my ac 110. The idea came from from time spent reading here on MF. I cut the sponge in half and bought some 100 micron filter floss. i now have alot of room for biomax. the water also is supper clear. No I could just loose the blue gravel I have.

like it~ great for polishing.I do the same but just use filter floss before the bio media,and after the sponge.I'll leave it for about a month and toss it and add more.cheap...and polishes water very nicely.

funny you said that, i was kinda expecting holes drilled and tubes or air lines etc etc added for some kinda "flux capacitor" style thing myself
