Should i go with the Aquaclear 70 or the Emperor 400 for a standard 55gal? I have never use AC before, here hear alot of good things about their 110

After i got the AC110 i loved how simple it is just to clean it once every 1-2 weeks. everytime you do a waterchange have a bucket n rinse n squeeze sponge with tankwater..in the long run it saves you a lot of $....to be honest Ive always seen the Aquaclear brand but it never looked like it would do the job so ive always bought Emp400 for HOB's... AC110 is also much better for biological bacteria
dont get me wrong, im running both EMp400 and ac110...but the emp is best to replace cartridges after 1x of use...bad idea to rinse that and re-use...and a 4pack of E size cartidge will run u about $15-20 @ an LFS.. so your spending $20 a month for 1 emp400 whereas the ac110 u can buy the sponge for $7 and use it for a year as long as u maintain it

I would go with the AC110 over the AC70 as Selki said, but because the AC110 will fit larger tanks if you want to transfer it in the future. The AC70 will not fit over a 75GAL + tank.
