In a close to overstocked 55 full of tertras and 1x gold gourami will 1x ac110 be good enough for sole filtration. Maybe add a small sponge filter aswell

I am all for over filtration :) :) but at moment i am running out of outlet space. Guess i can go OT since it is my topic but as most of you know i purchased my first house, well while the electrician was there fixing some wires an revamping some stuff I was carrying tank after tank in to the bonus den area of my house. It is a 1973 split folyer. He asked if i was setting them all up and I said yea, he asked if all in same room, I said yea. Now i am ignorant when it comes to what he was trying to say, but the jist of it was that it may be alot of power pulling to one room. he said i may need another breaker, amp, or somthing else i forgot exactly what is was as I said it was forign terms.
I plan on having a 120, a 75, 55, 100, four 20 Longs, in future another 125+ gallon tank, no more than 300 though. also maybe a 300gallon rubbermaid indoor pond. All in one room and upstaris justa 10 gallon and 15 colum. my 120 will be run by a jager 300w, 1x fx5 and 2x Ac110s, 75 will be run by 2x emperor 400(spares to save money) and 2x sponges filters. the 100 gallon will just be sponge filters, the 55 will be 250w jager and as whole point of this thread a lone Ac110. the 20 longs will be sponges and 100W heaters. So the above is a definate that will be set up over the following weeks

1 ac110 and a sponge filter:hearts:

Even on the sloowest setting it seened like the AC110 had to much flow for my fish in my 55, and my fish hated it so I had to go get a fake aquarium plant and stick it infront of the output and it redirects all the water. My fish are alot happier now.

2 ac101z will be a lot of current, but fine.........adding an internal fluval filter can be an option.......
