Just wondering yalls thoughts. My festae spawned again yesterday...and this time there are a lot of white ones...a lot more than normal...maybe as much as 1/2. Could it be that my ac110 crashing on the opening of the spawning pot messed it up some? My water level was low 2 or so inches so its basically pouring onto/into the pot they spawned in.

crud. The water was low because he has been chasing her and if the tank is toped off water gets everywhere. As I was watching them spawn it crossed my mind to turn off the filter but I didnt...I didnt think it would do that...but it must have. The past 3 spawns there were never more than like 20 white ones...this time theres quite a few. Bummer.
any thing is possible. i have an umbee pair they are young though. they just had a sucessful spawn about a month ago. they just laid 2 weeks later and almost the same thing your saying then they ate them. i think sometimes they just miss, or maybe just low on the go go jucie. i would do a good water change, and watch he is ready before she is and hurt her. but good luck.
