Ac110 on a 40 Breeder

For my nursery 40 breeder I replaced the ac70 with an ac110. The 110 is working out but would it be too heavy for the tank in the long run? Im worried its weight when full of media and water will stress the back glass panel. Am I over worried?

Also It sits level on the edge of the back panel when full or empty.

I've had a media loaded AC110 on my 40 breeder for well over a year and it's been fine.

I doubt that the weight of the 110 would cause any problems to your 40 b but I can't help but wonder why you want to go with that filter for your tank.

ive used the 40b/ac110 combination many times. i think its a perfect filter for the tank. fits neatly on one of the short sides.

I was just curious since I have always heard of them being used on much larger tanks.

I use a 110 on my 30 gallon acrylic. Just love the flow rate.

Good turn over for QT tank also, that’s what mine is. I had an extra and nothing to use it for so I used it, ended up loving it.
