I was reading through some of these posts when I recalled a pair of cichlids that I used to have. I had just purchased them from my LFS. A few weeks later, I had a friend of mine who was a fish expert, and he was looking at the tank when he noticed that there were some fry! I thought this was very cool, but since I had no experience nor did I want any more fish, I just gave him the tank. I regret that as I now love fish! Have you ever had any "surprise breedings"?
