hey guys looking for some help. i have a couple african cichlids and 2 green spotted puffers. there starting to get big now and i want to get them in to brackish water. what is the best to way to get the water to the sg i think for brackish is 1.010 - 1.015. i have a 25g tank.

Also, incase you didn't know, later on when they get even bigger, you'll need around close to 30G per puffer... since they have the potential to reach the size of a nerf ball...

Yep, yep and yep. Unfortunately, we can't "have our cake and eat it too" in these situations.. Setting up a 75 gallon brackish tank would be a huge favor to those puffers. However, you'll of course need to acclimate them to the proper parameters.

I was told at my lfs that African cichlids are brackish water. i looked further into this after you said that and indeed your right they are not. as far as the tank there going into a 40g tank in the next few weeks, just need to get a filter. there still small about 1 to 1.5 in. i was strictly catfish but when i seen these guys had to have them. also plan on starting a saltwater in the 25g there leaving so i can get a little experience with salt water before they get bigger. thanks for the info, always appreciated.
