Thinking of adding a Dragon Goby to my existing brackish tank setup. Here are the specs...

125 gallons
1.018 salinity

3 mono's sebae
2 mono argentus
2 orange chromides
1 green scat
1 figure 8 puffer
1 columbian shark

My question is, what are the chances of him living/co-exhisting with my current inhabitants? I think the only one im really worried about is the figure-8 puffer... but hes a pretty feisty guy. Had him since the start of this tank and hes lived fine with everyone in there, and all those fish besides the scat (the slowest growing fish in the world) are full grown.

so, will it work? I recently lost my archer fish in this setup from old age... so it'd be nice to add a new inhabitant...... im also thinking of donating my mono argentus to a local aquarium to make more room.

any help? the dudes in the brackish forum are giving me knowledge but not the exact knowledge im looking for still....

1. whats the perfered salinity for a dragon goby
2. can figure 8's survive in marine conditions (mine seems to be)

I thought I told you. The best sg for a Dragon Goby is 1.010. But you said the salinity is 1.018. Plus I told you the Figure Eight is going to pick on the goby. Also the Figure Eight doesn't need a salinity that high. Green Spotted Puffers need a salinity that high. I do salt/brackish/and fresh.
