Hello Everyone!

The title pretty much sums this thread up, I've tried to read through (numerous) tropical fish keeping books from the library to find out accurate measurements of fish I'd like to keep, but they vary greatly. Trying to figure out stocking levels for my new tank.

Does anyone know a good site where they have ACCURATE measurements of each type of fish so I can do this? Either that or if any of you can inform me of the adult sizes of these fish:

- Ram cichlid [most sources are accurate about this one tho - 7cm (2.5 inch)]
- Lemon Tetra
- Neon Tetra

Thanks again! Sorry if this is a n00b question!

www.fishbase.org is a very accurate site that usually states maximum length as well as average length.

just search for the fish by scientific name on the front page. i wouldn't bother trying to search by common name

Unlike most of the "monsterfish" kept here, small community fish do typically grow to their full size.
