Acei groth question

My acei tanks heater messed up a few months ago i cant aford to buy a new one atm no job i heard that cold tank stops or slows there groth was wondering if i wait to long to get a heater will they grow or stay the size they are now at around 3"

You should be fine. I would go buy a thermometer or take the temp and as long as you keep it from 74(colder)-78 degrees you will be fine and they will grow perfectly.
