Acei?

I picked up what I thought was an acei, but now that I’m able to look closer, it looks like a possible acei hybrid to me, what do you guys think?

P. sp. Acei sometimes show some faded stripes but this is too much for a pure Acei .

If it was acquired from a LFS, instead of a trusted breeder (that keeps species separate) there is probably;y only a 50% chance it is pure.

Those look to be stress stripes. Nothing unusual about that. The spot on the dorsal fin is something out of the ordinary. I've kept a lot a Acei & never had one with the pictured spot.
I agree with the others, probably not a pure breed.

I don’t know if pure. But I ordered some online and they had those dark stripes/spots on the fins. They disappeared completely after a few months.
