I got a small one of these guys acouple days ago, is there anything special I should know about them?

I had seen it eat while in the store, an have witnessed it take down a guppy an a jumbo mysis shrimp, I was surprised to see it go after the shrimp.

It is best to get off live foods by starving him for 1 week at a time and then add maybe 4-5 guppies.
Since some of the problems were brought up, a way to cure Ich is med-high Temp (82-85*) and aquarium salt. DO YOUR BEST TO STAY AWAY FROM MEDS.
I think they reach a max of 14" or so and my experience is they dont swim to much (maybe because he was solo).
. I tend to keep all my tanks between 80-85, an add salt with every water change/cleaning. I typically only give Meds to feeders when I first get them. Ya mine sortve stays in a open area an moves in short bursts.joeytoe;2180748; said:Ya mine sortve stays in a open area an moves in short bursts.
