Hello team.

I want to build an acrylic tank 160L*60W*60H in cm (55cm height the water level) 64L*24W*24H in inches. What thickness i should use? 15mm or 20mm? i dont want to have any bend when i fill it.
For top bracing i need a full acrylic sheet with holes or i can do it with pieces like glass tanks?
I am thinking about sump filtration. Is it overkill for this tank?
All suggestions are welcome

Believe 15mm thickness should work. Can up to 20mm for safety. For that top bracing I’d go with acrylic sheet. Sump won’t be overkill for it.

15mm of acrylic won't bend at this height? if not i will go for 15mm thickness and 8mm or 10mm for the sump.

Shouldn’t bend the tank height is 24in. Especially if braced. The sump thickness depends on its size.

Of course it will be braced 10cm all around with 1 brace in the middle 10-20cm. 24in total height but the water level will be at 22in.
The sump will be 32''L*15''W*15''H. i believe 8mm will be ok with all the walls inside that work like braces too.
