Does anyone know if all acrylic solvents are the same? im repairing a 50gal acrylic crack and "weld-on" products are not readily available. The only stuff i can find are products labeled as acrylic bond or acrylic solvent. ive tested the stuff on acrylic pieces and it bonds like it should but dont know if its been proven for aquarium applications as far as holding up against water pressure.
