My new acrylic aquarium came in today and this is my first experience with an acrylic aquarium. There are several spots along seams connecting panels that have small bubbles/globs of acrylic. Is this something to worry about or is it just somewhat sloppy craftsmanship?

I'll try to get better pics, but it's tricky.

Again, it's not bubbles really nor are they dimples. They're more like spots of extra solvent that they didn't clean up?

Looks like just sloppy job of bonding. Seen tanks like this before and did fine. Would watch and contact the seller since it’s a new tank. Shouldn’t be like that as it’ll make most consumers worry. wednesday13 wednesday13 will have better input I believe.

Looks to be on the outside of the seam. Likely just pushed out Weldon 40 or melted acrylic from a solvent bond. Nothing to worry about. Truthfully I wouldn’t waste time talking to the manufacturer about it, seams not faulty, doubt they would replace it. May be worth a shot if it really bugs you but personally I would accept the quality of that as the seam itself looks perfect.

Agreed, was about to post the same. It’s a clean bond and a non issue IMO
