Acrylic for my DIY 220G

hey i just got a price quote on a sheet of acrylic thats 23" x 59 3/4" thats 1/2" thick. its $140.00, so would this work for my plywood tank, that measures 5' L x 3' W x 2' H? thanks, i'm in my final stage of the build

There is a link for an acrylic thickness calculator in the DIY Stickies. That should tell you.

EDIT: here it is.

It says you would need more than 1/2", but it sounds a little off to me.
