OK, I picked up a cracked 1/2" thick acrylic tank for cutting up to make covers for my other tanks.

I have the left overs to build a sump with. 18x 19x 20 tall. The 4 sides are factory glued. I cut the opposite end off leaving an inch 90 degree corner.

2 sides are a perfect match. The cut side is .05" narrow.

Is this too much for weld on 16 to bond?

Also if I sanded the acrylic would silicone hold it?
I also have some epoxy resin.
Thanks

I would cut a 1" strip and bond it to the wall on the gap side and weld the end panel to that to eliminate the gap.
