It's hard to grasp how LARGE these are.

The only thing is that each sheet has three small holes about 4-5" from one edge. The opaque parts in the middle just peel off.

Thank God for Craigslist! They're going to have to sit until I have a house to put a 700+ gallon tank in...

What dimensions? I was thinking 11' X 4' X 2' tall but that's when I thought it was 5/8" thick. With 3/4" I can go taller, but it might entail buying more acrylic. They had one more sheet but wanted to keep it... :(

did u have to pay anything?

Yeah, I paid $250 a sheet. $750 total. New this would be over $5,000 in acrylic pretty sure. Hard to compare because not to many places fabricate 4' X 12' 3/4" thick sheets, it would have to be custom made.

That is one HUGE ply tank. :D

2 12' tanks or one 24' tank. Heck yea!

That's going to be an exciting build when it comes time... congrats on the acrylic that was a great deal !!

I would have snatched those up too, good score. So many things you could do with it.

As for the holes, they can be easily patched or just use those pieces for upper braces and only make the tank 10'.

Tons of options and it sounds like you have plenty of time to consider them all, which is good.

Odds are I'm just going to rip the acrylic through the holes and end up with an 11' long tank. Then I can use the left over 4-5" wide strips for brace support.

With such large sheets and at this awesome thickness (3/4"!) I have lots and lots of options.
