If it is an open top, meaning no top at 96" long and 48" wide and 54" tall it would have to be a minimum of 3.236" thick using Cell Cast Acrylic.
If it is a closed top either a full top with cutouts for access or euro braced it would need to be 2.158" Thick. What is killing you is the height. Why 54" You would have to custom order a sheet to get a 54x96" sheet for the front and back panels. Anything over 2" thick is custom order from the manufacturer. 48" tall you can use 1.899" thick.
All of the figures are based on the recommended 750 lbs per square inch. All thicknesses must be rounded up to the nearest standard. Cell cast Acrylic is rated at 10,000 psi per square inch at room temperature, but because of continuous stress of constant water pressure it is recommended at only 750 lbs per square inch to prevent stress crazing and/or failure.
