Ive got a mangrove jack who likes to smash lids, got a new bigger tank for him 6x2.5x2.5 but im guessing the lids will still be a problem (probably an even bigger problem haha).

Im looking at buying either acrylic(perspex) or polycarbonate lids, just wandering what experience people have got with lid smashing fish and what they use, or if anyone has any advice/experience with non glass lids?

Cheers!

I don't like egg creates because I want to keep as much heat and water inside the tank as possibe. If you get to thin of acrylic it will bow, and acrylic can be effected by the lights were as I don't think Lexan is. Tenecor makes their tanks out acrylic but lids from lexan
