i have a really big problem about the evaporation of my tanks.. and my wife notice the molds started to build up on the ceiling where my tank is located.. and she gave me two options:
1. get rid of the tank
2. keep the tank, but i have to show it to her that there'll be no more molds building up..

so, i was thinking of buying an acrylic or plexi glass to cover my tank.. oh, by the way, i didn't mention that my sump don't have a lid.. and my main tank, i only cover it with egg crate, just to prevent the fish from jumping.. and it's a 100G tank..

and now, my question is:
how do i make a hole on some corners of the Plexiglas? i can't cover the whole top because of the water flow that came from the sump, and the overflow that's kinda sticking out.. that were in the way. i was thinking that i'll make a hole that will perfectly fit to the water flow and the overflow.. what should i do guys?

i need help..

thanks for reading..

could we get a picture of your set up?

Once you get the piece of acrylic, you should be able to cut it or drill it to fit your needs. The only thing you might have to do is to reinforce the acrylic to keep it from bowing.
