I'm in the process of purchasing a used acrylic tank. It was purchased new from Tenecor about 2 years ago, and hasn't really been used. Just filled with water to test for leaks in the tank and in the plumbing. However, the tank has collected a lot of dust. What can I use to clean the dust off of the tank without scratching the acrylic?

Another thing about the tank, is that it was ordered with the back panel being blue acrylic. I want it to be black, so how would I go about doing this? Would I have to find a marine safe black paint and paint the inside of the tank?

Thanks.

Use a cloth for cleaning plastics or a really soft detailing rag.
