acrylic seam?

i am buying a new tank and the MFG just sent me Pictures of the tank because the seams do not look perfect. can someone look at these pictures and tell me if the seam look ok. the one on the top of the tank i dont think i can over look because i will see this everyday. i will say it is nice to see they did this instead of just sending it over.

Yes, they don't look good, either they did a bad job cementing the panels or seams are separating later, you will have problem sooner or later.
 
Lepisosteus Lepisosteus has some acrylic experience and may offer some advice.
 
What are your options? Take the tank as is at a significant discount or they make a new one?

they are going to make me a new one. but now want to charge me $1000 form me to go from 24 to 29 inch tall. that seems like a lot concerting i have to wait another 4 weeks so 12 in total to get my tank. what do you guys think?
 
Take the new one. 24 to 30” is another sheet of acrylic. 3/4” sheet is around $500-$650. Seems right. I’d see if they would add the extra height for cost of material given they messed up the first build.
 
so for a 96 x 48 x 30 3/4 inch acrylic with a full coast to coast, recessed lids, and steal stand shipped for $7400
is that a good price?
