About 3-4 weeks ago I bought (2) 96x48x48x 1/2" cast sheets. I told them it was for an aquarium and I had to sign a waiver for no refund. After meeting STIFF resistance from the wife about adding another tank, I tried to return the acrylic, and the would not take it back even though it was uncut and still in pristine condition.
Fast forward to this morning. I get a call from the company and they said they will take the sheets back for a full refund. After talking to the guy it seems that there is a timely wait from the manufactures on that size and they need some ASAP. These sheets cost me $361.37 a sheet so I agreed to sell them back to them and I haggled an extra 10% for my time. So end the end I returned them and made $72 on it.
Anyone know of a shortage?
