I have a 125 acrylic tank that I bought used. It bows slightly in the bottom center. If I put it on a stand that has a solid plywood top will the bow straighten out when water is added or should I put foam underneath it?
I know another fellow with the same issue. He used foam. He has owned the aquarium from new in 1984 and did not fully support the bottom of the tank on a flat surface. When he upgraded to a new stand that had a flat surface he discovered the bow. I have seen the tank and it is still up and running in his living room.
