Acrylic Tank Builders Help!!!

Just wondering where you guys get your sheets and at what cost usually? Everywhere around me that I can find is wanting about $500 + for a sheet. Is this normal or does anyone have a better line on some sheets. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was told by a person who builds acrylic tanks that the prices of acrylics went up 8% 1.5 years ago so that price might be right. Do you have any acrylic or plastic shops in your area you can price quote from?

Yeah everywhere around me is about $525 per sheet cut to size... but I didn't know if that was just in my area.

acrylic is expensive no matter how you go about it. I ended up opting out of doing acrylic for that reason alone, it would have easily cost me 2-3x as much
