acrylic tank lid and lights pics?

just got an acrylic tank with no lids or lights.
anyone have pics of there acrylic tank lids and light setup?
homemade or the lids and lights that came with it.
trying to get ideas.
think i might make some glass covers and buy some home depot lights,im cheap.

I think you have the right idea. I had been thinking of using lexan or plexi-glass. It can be easily cut and will not shatter if a fish splashes it. Also if you have fish that jump, they will not stick to it when it gets hot.

I made a hood with two lights that I got from the HD. They were on the clearance rack for eight bucks each (I am cheap too). They were aquarium/plant lights; couldn't say no.
