I can't find anything about working out the thickness of acrylic for hefty tanks. My design might change a bit - was going to be the 10 x 3 x 4high that I've posted about further down, but after looking at cleod's excellent corner tank I'm thinking more along those lines now - it'd make fitting my 6ft tank in much easier, with regards to maintenance, and just getting it above the bigger tank in the first place 
Anyhoo, with a corner design the viewing window would be about 70" x 48", give or take - how thick would it have to be with acrylic?
