Trying to figure out how to attach acrylic window to plywood/fiberglass tanks without a lot of bolts. I saw 3M's VHB tape. I know that silicone will not work. I also know that this is the place to get my answer. I'm going to build a 96"Lx48"Wx30"H sw tank. Putting in the wall between my living room and bed room and putting windows on both sides. Planing on putting the bulkheads until the corners. Any suggestions on the build would be highly appreciated.

Haven't tried it yet, apparently the polyurethane based caulks like GM 5200 generally work fine with plastics.
that was 3m 5200 by the way... autocorrect changed it. There's lots of mentions of it in other build threads
Is that to attach acrylic window to fiberglass or glass window to fiberglass just clarifying
Acrylic to epoxy. Go to the tank build threads and start looking at plywood tank builds with acrylic, lots of mentions there about polyurethane caulks in conjunction with acrylic to epoxy, anything to the rubber waterproofing products and such. It takes some reading but there's a fair amount of info out there.
Thanks again I'll go read there to help with this I got the layout and I'm going to waterproof with chop strain mat 3 layers and 3 to 4 layers of gel coat.
