Picked up an acrylic 37 gallon, Fluval 404, and a 100 watt heater for $95. It's all in working order. The tank doesn't leak or have any flaws except a crack on the top piece. My question is would this need to be repaired (if so with what?), is it fine left alone(it didn't show signs of stress when it was left filled for 24hours)??
Here's some pictures.

Grab a 1" piece of acrylic and glue it over the crack. I repaired my 55G like this and it has held for years.

I would think it cracked for a reason. Probably stress
Get the same size Acrylic the tank is made of and bond a piece over the crack.
Maybe even do all 4 corners.

How thick is the acrylic tank?

Nice. What'd you use for glue? Where did you get your acrylic, hardware store like Lowes, Home depot? Did you cut it yourself?

Search the yellow pages for acrylic. They'll have bonding agent. And then just order the size acrylic you need
