acrylic tops warped

any ideas about a fix?

both of my tops curl up. I should have called manufacture, but didnt. They look like they are made from the pieces they cut out of the top, with about a 3" strip bonded all the way around to keep them from falling in. They are about 3/8 acrylic.

I have 2 and they are both curled up at the ends

Can you flip them over?

Acrylic will do this as it absorbs moisture. Nothing you can do about it other than flip them over and rotate them every now and again.

With the extra lip on the pieces, I doubt they will flip and do anything other then sit on top of the holes.

Is it a tenecor? I had the same problem and I took one of those little plumbers torches you get at home depot and carefully heat it up where it is curled then slowly and carefully start to press down and flatten it back out. Make sure you protect your hands as to not get burnt and don't keep the torch it one spot to long or to close or you will melt it.

no need to heat it, just flip it or add weight to put it down.
