acrylic warps

figured i would post my luck with acrylic.
yes im sure theres acrylic out there that doesnt warp.
but im sure it costs more also.

so heres my luck with it.

start small,lol
1/8"
no light or sun even on it.
bowing both ways

this one is 1/4"
the clip holding it down broke.
that clip can hold 5lbs of weights hanging from it.

and this one isnt as bad.
and is hard to show but
it the top of my 90g acrylic tank.
3/8" thick
the lids are glass and if the tank wasnt warped they would sit flat on the tank.lol

nothing wrong with acrylic i just figured i would post the few problems ive had with plexi warping/bowing.

oh and here are the acrylic lids that came with the 90g acrylic tank.
they were about that bad when i got them.

what you do is just flip it over when it starts showing signs of bowing, and then it will take a lil while to get back to normal. and thenit will bow again and just flip it.
it takes like 2 seconds.
for thin stuff like this you have to do that

Like, the acrylic is a little bent. Should I take it apart? Now I'm worried! Great. It's fine, though.
