bichir surface shot is awesome! You should get finer substrate for the eel, he would like it better than digging in coarse gravel

It a peacock eel not fire eel and will hopefully be on pool filter sand soon.
The first and third shot are my favorites.
Third one is cool if you can see the air pocket coming out of the gills
