Could anyone recommend an active bottom dweller for a 55 gallon? It has to be atleast 3-4 inches full grown length. One bigger fish or a few small ones is fine. Thanks

I have an insane spotted catfish with one eye that has never grown over 4 inches in 5 yrs...which I don't understand cause he eats everything that hits the bottom 1/4 of the tank. Could also try a Geo of some sort.

Hoplo cat love mine he has so much personality!

Sens being the more active ones, although they are not entirely bottom dwellers I guess.

I have seen numerous brown hoplos over 8" just so you know.

I would recommend almost any species of loach. They have much more personality and most kinds will do fine in a 55 for life.

my bichirs are definitely not bottom dwellers. They spend a good amount of their time cruising around the top and in-between the plants.
